Dry-Tinder Just listened to this. At least with Digweed’s live comps the tracks themselves are interesting on their own. They’re produced to a higher level of sophistication, even if they’re not to everyone’s taste - mine included.
Sasha’s choice of tracks at Fabric all sound produced with the same plugins and samples. It gives his set a uniform sound signature that works wonderfully in a club, but I haven’t heard a single track that I’d want to listen to again. Also the mixing is often rather lazy, letting an outro run for 16-24 bars…
