I beg to differ regarding the notion loads of people are losing money, personally I think there has been a realisation the big boys can be taken on by masses, the old adage.
Finance is a brilliant example where people are afraid to take any risk due to the perfect storm of modern life as you need cash for food, your mortgage and kids etc, so this has created a world where rich can exploit this and get richer.
