Hursty They have banned the purchasing of any goods with it. Nobody will except it as payment for anything. I’m fairly sure you can still purchase / hold / trade the coins themselves.

LT42 yeah it happens, but there are always ways and means, even if you live in China.

Granted they are making it more difficult for the average user, but that will inflate the price. Look at Nigeria, they “banned” Bitcoin recently and it immediately started trading way above the normal market price. Nigeria have revered their decision now.
