I’m too risk averse for all this shit. Low to medium risk ISAs for me and her True Potential to do the lot for me. When I’ve had shares, I’ve found the whole thing too stressful and even after you sell them, you keep looking at the share price for months after.

Along_the_Wire Get £500 and put it in some dirt cheap stock with loads of potential, then forget about it for a few years. Maybe it doubles or triples or more, you can put it towards a holiday. If it goes tits up, you’ve only lost £500 etc.

Amps lithium, cobalt and nickel are the constituent minerals in li-ion and nickel is the most sought after as it allows a greater range/charge which is yhe holy grail of batteries. Musk said it himself last month ‘please mine more nickel’. And its not just him. Amazon will be using all electric vehicles soon plus drones, the 5g revolution will require battery operation more than ever too.

Lithium is also important for EVs. Do a google for ‘Lithium tesla coup’ for some fun. Rumours that the US arranged a coup in Bolivia to install someone who would give Tesla access to their lithium supplies.
