Lads, i would tend to agree with cj here. The chances of any of your finding a nugget of info that a fund manager at some of the largest investment providers on the planet, with a huge team of analysts working for them, doesn’t already know, is slim to none. Every single one of those companies you are looking at will have been reviewed many times over. Due to the potential investment size some of those providers can put into a business, some of the analysts or even the fund managers themselves will sit down with the guys running the companies to discuss their strategies, future plans, fundamentals etc. The chances of you or i discovering the next big hit before those types of people are low. If it’s just a punt as some of you say then crack on but you aren’t going to retire early on this type of strategy.
