As we came out of lockdown, a man living in Canada working for Forbes magazine, started to pay more attention to his love for the electronic/prog house scene and started the Superprogressive Youtube Channel
He became the social media manager for Danny Tenaglia getting the page much more out there - growing it to 200K fans/followers.
Around the time I interviewed Anthony Pappa (vid) Superprogressive had already just done this and what he didn’t know back then was if it wasn’t for watching this guy do it, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to ask Anthony to talk to us before he played for us at PROGRESS: ON in Newcastle and I wouldn’t have known what to say.
Fast Forward to 2024 and in that time his Youtube channel has become packed full of quality new interviews including:
There are 120+ others. He has a buzz for the scene combined with a willingness to share stories and ask questions people don’t always think of. He uses approaches in different locations / styles to keep things moving.
So whether you’re a fan of the music, interested in the roots of DJ / Producer careers, producing your own music or wanting to see how others broke out professionally, there’s something for most of us and he’s put a lot of work in.
The channel owner has just moved to Manchester and he came to Balaeric on Sunday - Steve Parry introduced him to me as ‘the man doing Gods work!’ in this scene and having looked more closely on the history I see why.
The channels are below if you want to follow/sub for updates on the free content, possibly ask questions to put forward to future interviews.

Even after what happened today I’ve been reminded there are enough good people on JC and everyone is in here because of the love of this scene. Without having that in common this forum would not exist. Constructive criticism isn’t bad just keep it friendly/useful or move on if its not your thing and - importantly - just remember the human.
I hope he keeps up the good work as do the top tier of DJs, to me he’s helping the entire scene move forward and attract new audiences - so often people don’t shout about the scene like this - so feel free to chat about videos / events he’s doing and let’s give a genuine welcome this time to @Superprogressive 🙂 👍️
