Mad_Cyril He looks like a real classic batsman, but he’s a nervy mofo. The Hameed I’m seeing in Australia is very different to the one I saw playing against India. Haven’t see any of his county cricket, but he was magnificent against India A when they put that all-star County team together. I’m assuming the angled bat is happening because of the way the Aussies are getting the ball to perk up and he’s just bag full of nerves.
As I mentioned earlier, not even close to the same class as Gill or Shaw, both of whom are pretty much in the same generation. Tbf Shaw got owned in Australia making the same mistakes Hameed is.
