alistair Surprise, surprise, Mainoo’s been no better than Trent and Gallagher.
Mainoo has been our best player out there along with perhaps Bellingham. He created our best chance for Saka and has passed it forward to team-mates.
Saka has been abysmal yet again. Foden also anonymous. They shouldn’t have started and they gave to be subbed for Palmer and Gordon at minimum. Guehi also doesn’t seem right out there. Trippier for TAA and maybe Kane off for Watkins are the others I’d consider.
But the whole team has lacked desire, energy, cohesion, intensity etc from day 1 of this tournament.
