Can someone hook it up with that club ad with Seb having pissed his khakis? Can’t find it anywhere, and I can’t stop lolling thinking about it.

And it showed Seb with his pissy combats behind the decks with a line like ’It’s why I became a resident’

These were always the back page advert of Mixmag at the time (Ministry and Gatecrasher were always on the inside covers) and the month after their letters bag was apparently inundated with readers who just wanted to talk about Seb’s pissy pants, so they asked him about it and he said something like:
“It was midway through a set and I desperately needed a piss, so I put on a long track and made a dash for it, and just got back in time, but yes I basically did splash myself”

    I gave the two girls in them flyers their brown wings. Not hard, considering the fudge packers that they were hanging around with ATT.

      Dave’s on it. It was around like 99-00 prob. I remember it was on the back of one of the very first Mixmags I ever purchased. Had no idea who Seb Fontaine was or what Cream was. Iircc he had a hilarious look on his face in the shot. And its one of those pant pisses where he clearly rushed it, left too much in the line, and did a premature retuck. Dermo calling him Fatty Piss Pants still gets me. 🤣

      That series was 1999.

      The following year they went for a Calendar type design.

      This was when I had started clubbing regularly, remember it well, the flyers from Cream etc were on my walls.

      Its crazy that Seb has the Beyonce like power to have an unfortunate pic scrubbed from the internet.

      Got stacks of flyer design books, and the Cream stuff always features, but these where far from their best ones imo, too corporate for a nightclub etc.

        Amps I don’t know, I kind of liked Farrow Design’s stuff for Cream and Designer’s Republic stuff for Gatecrasher, it seems naff now but it was pretty original in the days when most flyers were like this:

            bosstrabs I reckon the Designer Republic stuff still stands up, that and all their WipeOut stuff was and is boss, I just think some of the Cream stuff was a little flat everything considered. But yah, point taken on the state of the rest of it.

              I always thought the cream adds were pretty bad ass, but I was also 15 and would have thought just about anything club related that I could find was cool. The cream ads just seemed higher brow than the Gatecrasher and Heaven ones that I saw in Mixmag Urb and Muzik.

                Think that is exactly what they where going for, it just lacked a little creativity for me at times, but then it’s all rose tinted this end etc.
