Pre LIEbour getting in, the two main issues were small boat crossings/immigration and NHS wating lists, both of which have reduced dramatically in comparison to the Tories. WTF is their comms team actually doing? Farage/Kemi etc would dine out on those two stats for years if they had achieved either.

Millsy That tells you that Labour are a big mess internally then. Starmer wasnt liked because he veered to much to the right of centre for them lot. He done more about the boat crossings than i expected but was to much flip flopping and once u raise taxes or fk with isa’s etc you will lose a lot of people.

Personally think vat needs lowered to help this stagnant economy, as goods and services cost a fortune and small businesses can barely make profit, they dont like having to hike prices to stay afloat.

VR46 Starmer never veered right of centre. He was largely ineffective and would certainly lose the next general election - he’s done the right thing, a good thing, for the country.

He was pretty much a torie with way he dealt with immirgration, defense and cossying up with trump, the left of the party did not like it, clearly evident. Its between Lib Dems, Greens and Reform in next election imo.

Burnham is hugely popular in the North West of England. A Burnham-led Labour will demolish Reform and the Tories at least around our way.

bosstrabs I’ll be back here to tell you, i told you so dont you worry! Starmer wasnt popular on any platform including reddit or outlets like the Guardian. He actually done quiet a few things i agreed with in the end so i wasnt his biggest hater. He’s replaced by a better personality but we all know once a pm resigns half way its hard to rescue the ship.

I watch politics live and im on reddit way more than X, what happens in UK has a large effect on NI and what goes on in the Commons is actually more interesting than our politics of late.
