Wandering home from the boozer last night listening to Wavy Gravy. Amazing how much of it I remembered. I never really played it at home, just remember it being a closing track for a while at heaven.

Chemical Brothers - It began in Afrika

They have all become like signature end of night tracks for me.

    I remember it once as a closer for the ADD night and it was a shit mood killer (a bit like my post)

        Dry-Tinder good shout and good thread. I enjoy something melancholic, and used to end all nighters (when I had a residency for a year or two in 2016/2017) with A:xus - When I Fall in Love (Stryke’s Acid Dub).

            Seen Digweed close with Dr Atomic - Shudelfloss before. Not a bad choice at all.

              Heaven Scent, obviously. Every Sasha and Digweed fanboy provincial prog DJ was closing with that for about a year after GU13.

              The Source - Fly Away was Oakenfold’s closer for ages.

                bosstrabs Remember Sasha closing Tyrant with the John Johnson remix and it was a bit of a hmmmph… Otherwise a very good night.

                    Erol Alkan played that at Underworld a couple of weeks ago.

                    Sounded absolutely mustard.

                    Some absolute dickhead banging out Heaven Scent to close his set at about 11pm, when there were maybe 15 people on the dancefloor. Ridiculous.

                      Homegrove Loved a lot of strykes output - again 20 years old though. Isn’t that the last track on Burridge’s nu breed?

                          Got a vague memory of simon free at last (dub) as well, that would have been around 2000 at Heaven. r something that sounded like it.

                          The piano vibes coming through strong on this thread. Keep em coming. Bags me a 10 pager for top tables creds and also inspiration for a set composed entirely of closers.

                            benson yeah, I think that’s where I picked it up from originally. He did a similar trick with Deeper on his 24/7 GU-album.
