I remember a few horrific National Express coaches back to Oxford. Nasty Friday’s at work. God knows how I came through it all largely unscathed.
I was at this, I think its the one where the special guest (DT) was not revealed until the day or something, by email.
I went on my own, so glad I did, was an amazing night. He kept playing the accapella from Green Velvet - Flash throughout the night, it worked so well.
Ended up dancing next to the fat lads from GU and they said he was doing a GU for them…which ended up being London. The liner notes have that detail about the record player gift for Digweed @benson

Ahh I didn’t realise DT played Heaven twice? I was at the one that was before GU17 which must have been the 2000 one.
gcw no it’s the same one in the videos. He actually says in one of the videos that it is his first time playing Bedrock at Heaven. His videos are from 2000
Went from playing stuff like the Moonface remix of Cascades of Colour to Tilt - Angry Skies. Considerably better than when I saw him at Home.

But Brighton and Hove City Council said it was satisfied with the clear up after Friday’s concert and only one or two small patches had been missed.
Cabinet councillor Ian Duncan said Channel 4 had paid for litter pickers to start work as soon as Fat Boy Slim left the stage and work through the night.
He said it was impossible to stop people bringing bottles but events like the Big Beach Boutique should continue because they were good news for the city.
He said: "This is what we are about, it is what people are increasingly saying Brighton and Hove is bloody good at.
“No way will I be apologetic for putting on things like this, it is what gives the city its high profile.”
He then went on to sign off the huge event in 2002. Good lad.
I know it’s not bedrock but it was still a massive massive event where I met loads of people. Still friends today.
Also not forgotten is Leeds Love parade of 2000. July 8th. It was proper mental. My mum lived just up the road and we walked to it and then had the time of our lives.
