Item number 1: The half-zip jumper… Sorry, I’ve just kind of… given up.

bosstrabs they still have a place in my work wardrobe. I don’t wear suits anymore so in the winter some chinos with a half zip jumper does the trick.

RichM some chinos with a half zip jumper does the trick

Sorry Rich, but this is exactly what I am referring to.

Rich kicking back in his swivel chair reading up on the Peterson Account, with a check shirt underneath a half-zip, chinos on the legs, maybe some brown shitflickers on his feet…

bosstrabs My 15 year old loves these - he got his granny to buy him another one for Xmas. I didn’t say anything.

        that’s a quarter-zip, dudes

Im not a fan of the half zip but im intrigued to know what Dave regards as suitable ‘smart/casual’ given the stark contrast his leisurewear has with this

I wonder if anyone here rocks the American smart casual chino look, with the blue pocket-breasted shirt, no tie, buttoned down to reveal a sharp white cotton tee underneath, sleeves rolled half way up the forearm, complete with Starbucks loyalty card.

That’s defo me, never been into fashion, outdoor / sports kit is where I sink my cash.

You don’t rock Merrells and crocs if you haven’t “given up”, I also wear barefoot shoes all the time, the height of fashion

          Did someone say crocs?

Safe to say we’ve all given up, Dave. It’s just you, Rhouses and Smallsy who are fashion-forward trailblazers. Let that sink in.

Dave, what’s your business casual attire consist of?

If you can provide an alternative to the above, which doesn’t look horrendous, I’m all in!

I’m wearing a diadora two tone trackie at my next client pitch.

I don’t do smart-casual at all, I am either dressed like a Red Star Belgrade hooligan or wearing a two-button suit (blue or black or grey) with a pale shirt underneath, possibly a tie, and some Oxfords (or decent Loake slip-ons in the summer).

              …. and a fedora

Do love my fleece jackets, but always full zip.

bosstrabs known as the ‘consultants jumper’ for obvious reasons. Arnie Slot is a big fan.

The CEO of American Airlines just made a speech wearing guess what? A half-zip with blue shirt. He must have given up.

LT42 That’s the cunt that made me start this thread actually.

Disrespectful cunt in his Marks & Spencer’s gear. Should be wearing a black tie in sombre respect.
