Anyone watch the footy last night? TAA seems to have had a successful game in centre mid from what I have read. Although against extremely poor opposition.

I still think Klopp should use him more in midfield, would help solve our midfield issues, but would need to get a decent right back in to replace him.

Oh look, Al Hilal’s owners also own Newcastle. Neves wanted to play in Champions League and Newcastle were reportedly in for him a bit back. What’s the odds of a loan move to the great sportwashed to help them get round FFP, with Saudi scum paying a large part of the wages and passing off the loan fee.
Smells of utter filth this does. 🤮🤮🤮

Cankles-McJeggings Maybe. Newcastle have yet to sign anyone (other than two young lads for future investments who are going out on loan) and if they wanted Neves that badly, they could just buy him with change leftover from the reported transfer kitty but then no one knows what deals are in motion. I do think Newcastle are sticking to their ‘we’re not paying stupid money’ policy for players though - they got Guimareas and Botman for a combined 75m for example - that’s solid business and I see no reason for them to fuck around with such a loan move for Neves at the moment. I think the PL will step in and shut down any moves like that as soon as someone does it too.
