Apologies all! (replying to an application rejection if you can believe it, I also had a proper weird premonition dream ten minutes before kick off that has left me a little flustered)
Hideously pedestrian from us for the first 60 or so minutes. Still lots of sloppy passes which can never be excused. I can only imagine that Salah is lighting the training pitch up, as there can be no other good reason for him getting in the team. I’m not sure the experiment of trying to play Isak and MacAllister into form / health should have lasted past the international break either. Just not good enough or spirited enough in general, and as many problems at the front of the pitch as there is at the back.
Tip of the hat to Utd. they were way more up for it than we were and took their chances.
