Hard losing to a Lego Pulis side, but an enjoyable watch.
We were better at playing higher up the pitch, as a team, and putting pressure on the opposition. Some of our wing back positions out of possession were ridiculously high - great to see.
It comes with risk of course, especially with the profile we have in midfield, and Lego Stoke caught us with a few counters. Better coaching over the summer has closed the gap but we really could do with a Kante-type midfielder.
I think it’s a good start and am hopeful we gel better as the weeks progress - going to be nice watching Cunha & Mbuemo regularly.
Was away for your game, reading about it sounded a fairly entertaining start. How did Hugo EkTIKKI BAR look?
