Nothing to do with his contract. He’s been poor all season, poorer than the other players you mentioned; he’s lost his touch and his pace, something I would attribute to his age… basically, it’s unlikely that he’s gonna get any better, so why start him. I think he’s genuinely hampering our campaign. At least with other, younger players, theere is a potential for them to be played into form.
