baggers44 Wally still almost speechless after that first half but tbf |(uniquely) we dont have covid in the camp but just about 10 injuries. we only play one way and it requires fit drilled footballers with reasonable skill levels playing in familiar positions. none of that applies atm. the best defenders and midfielders are injured. the spine of the team yesterday was a player coming back from 3 mths injury, a 31 yr old who is coming back after 2 yr injury and a 19 yr old kid. that 19 yr old full back was making his debut …blah blah …..with some semblance of a familiar team we are not in the worst 3 but the way things are going i can see no reason why we would ever have a fit team . we play liverpool next and even i might triple captain salah! it could actually be 10-0 with the U23s v Liverpool and still trying to play out beyond the gegenpress.
