Old-Dutch Two years on his contract and all his chat is about time out when his contract is up. So I can’t see him doing a rebuild of any sort in two years. He takes forever to bring players into the first team at the best of times. If he signs an extension, then yeah, sure, who knows what is possible.
It has been competitive, but we arent this season, and I don’t think we will be for the next two, unless he signs an extension and starts bringing in new players in during the next windows. We’re an aging side and the level you need to be at to compete against City is unreal. We’re just off that level this season, and I don’t see that changing. We’d need other teams to do a lot of work for us and that’s not happening at the moment.
