One thing which I think he does bring which could be useful, is he’s pretty handy at operating in and around congested penalty areas when opponents park the bus - so finding space, being composed, making little through-balls, dribbling in tight spaces, getting shots away. I reckon he’d make up a bit in that regard for Mata becoming ancient. He’s tenacious as well.
Not sure he’d improve Utd’s starting XI, but he’ll be the top option off the bench.
