I certainly hope that is the case, but I have an awful feeling that he will make improvements at Utd. It’s clear to everyone big changes are needed, so surely that’s what they are expecting of him. The difficulty will be how much of the squad he can get rid of now and start to replace. It’s a massive overhaul which will take a few seasons to pay off. But will the club and fans give him time, probably not.
