Also of the Mancunians (and massive United fan), although I think unconnected was 2badmice, of Jinxy cat update fame, where he was posting daily updates about his cat (was it missing or did it have an operation or something?) and 90% of the board was being all sincere towards him and then me and a couple of others basically bowled in with ’we’re at about page 50 now, no-one gives a shit about your cat really, I personally hope it dies’ and then he flounced off and quite the board forever.
