If it does happen, which I still can’t envisage how it would, it will be interesting to see how the players and coaching staff of the breakaway clubs react. Bayern and PSG could have the pick of the worlds best players.

This Super League thing won’t be happening. I’d like it to though, I’d like to see the end for all the clubs that have get involved.

The PL won’t be booting out any teams. They won’t be signing their own commercial death warrant. Without these clubs, ratings, advertisers, tv rights and revenue immediately go through the floor. Upon reading the announcement, its UEFA that stand to lose the most as it will replace their Champions league format. The PL, as driven by the profit motive as these clubs are, will learn to live with it

alistair If they did though… I think it would bring it to a halt pretty quickly. No league footy would kill the revenue. If only we had strong leadership in the government / FA / Prem.
