-si- Yeah a few of us drove up, Si. Actually, we had a designated driver, a brother of a mate who was a teetotaller. He got paid in hash as far as I remember. He used to drive us all over the gaff, Galway, Cork etc. He’d fall asleep in the car after rolling joints all night for the way home. Great times.

I have some trouble with some of the years pre 2007 tracks if using classics with current release sets - in rare instances they still work

I’ve started writing [125] at the start of old school faster Track Titles to indicate the lowest BPM they can still be played at with Master Tempo / Key Lock on before they sound wrong (@Mad_Cyril I LOVE TAGGING 🖕 )

@Wasily do you have modern ‘opener moment’ style tracks?

I’ll post some more soon.

PS. I would love to have the high quality audio file for the old school Radio 1 essential mix intro - and the sound bites in between - just to fuck with people’s heads when they’re on the sesh

This track builds a powerful sense of anticipation, without the release, and people get lost in it.

If it is immediately followed by a track that releases that tension, make sure there are no drinks near the decks!

It has an extra breakdown which they removed on the basis that it was ‘too leggy’.
