Was thinking about your iPlayer issue. I’m sure you will be registering with a UK address but I wonder if their algorithm triangulates the server location against it, so you need to be a bit more precise. One site I looked at was suggesting you choose East London (which actually is the location my VPN defaults to for the Smart Location for some reason).
It was advising that you use a recognised Post Code e.g. use SW1A 1AA for London, E1 OAA for East London, and E16 2JE for Docklands and even find the address those Post Codes link to. In other words, a general UK address might not be enough.
Worth a shot maybe?
