Only saw Morillo twice but both times he absolutely tore it up.

Lil Mo YIng Yang’s reach was also the very last track I heard at Output on the now legendary night out I had with Zackster in NYC a few years ago.

Cheers.

Morillo may well have been guilty but we will never know for sure. People have to reserve judgement until due process takes place. Pity it won’t happen here.

    Took lot of ’spcripts away.

Dan Knowing Louie Vega’s vastly superior production skills (one of the best ever) you do wonder what role Erick played. Very good dj but I am yet to be convinced about him as a producer.

alistair He was signed to Strictly Rhythm? That tells you all you need to know.

Shame. A real pioneer of both the funky house scene and rebuffed rapey moves. Just like Smallman.

        Loved this on Subliminal

Another one from his Sondos label

Dan so were Real to Real originally. I only really liked two tracks that he had credits on. Had no time for the subliminal filtered disco sound.

anyway, whatever happened to the Mad Stuntman?

The DJ’s that Morillo mainly inspired were the likes of the Martinez Bros, Swedish House Mafia and Danny Howard. All shite. No big loss.

alistair They just cater for the mass market in the same way many popular bands do. Big bucks at the end of the day

            Thick Dick Insatiable. How apt

Along_the_Wire yeah fucking genius! take loads of drugs, slide into depression, commit suicide… fck me - there is reason people give up that lifestyle as they get older. Well aware an anti-drugs rant doesn’t really fit on a prog house board… zero cares!

I remember in the days of Trisco Muzak when you could just get high off the music

Jules72 I’m not about to take drugs to the extent I get depressed and kill myself. You can enjoy most things in moderation.

Mind you, it’s the drink that’ll get me in the end.

Sounds like a total lightweight Morillo.

Jules72 ….imagine the scene though they all live in. Endless parties and self promotion. I think the whole House/Vocal House scene is the worst, pool parties, glitz and Miami etc.

Makes the way Bong, Cox and Diggers have stayed clean and sober all these years pretty amazing TBH. Also Sasha coming out the other side, though it does seem that guy has a constitution of a bull regarding caning it so that probably helped.

Pete Tong has never been clean.

Maybe for the last 10 years but he was bang on it during the 90s.

If you think Sasha and Tong don’t get stuck in still your easy prey for when Edward announces a new go fund me for Rhouses to get to Bedrock via tuck tuck inside two days

                      Echo

He had Steve Lawler’s mix of Trisco “Muzak” as an Essential New Tune. Must’ve been bang on all sorts of gear.

Worth reading Mr C’s facebook post on it. Pretty damning. Strikes me that Morillo could have been a serial predator.
