      Smallman1 Nice. Some of the wines here can be really good, even the cheaper ones. There’s a Balkan winery near here that I keep meaning to go to.

        Absolute love Turkish cuisine, the hospitality is always fantastic too, get so well looked after.

        Lovely meal at Birdies in Whitstable last night. King prawns in chili to start with, fish stew/curry to follow . Top notch fresh food and service fantastic- 8.5/10

          Almost wish COVID would come back, so Smallman was locked down and couldn’t go out to restaurants anymore.

                          Me and Mrs IS did have a good laugh looking at the stream of cars with L license plates (lots of Discos and white Teslas!) hoofing up the hill out of Whitstable to make it back to London.

                            Pop down to quaint Whitstable for the day and then straight back to the big smoke!

                            Any suggestions for a grown up blokes lunch in the City ? Bank or Lpool St way . Standard American / British staple .
