In Cambridge tomorrow for a birthday lunch at a lovely Italian family restaurant called La Marguerita. The antipasti and prawn and oyster mushroom linguine was delicious last time I went.

Mad_Cyril Just had a closer look at the website and menu, it looks like a Kerala/Mallu/Malyali joint. The area isn’t really well known for biryani, I’d probably give that a skip.

Go with a dry prawn/lamb and egg roast for starters. Chicken curry/seafood curry + appams/kerala paratha for mains. The Lemon Rice with a seafood curry could be good. Mind, 3.50 for a paratha is madness, wouldn’t be able to do it.

Love that they have testimonials from Virat, Anushka, Andrew Lincoln from Walking Dead, and IPL legend and Keralite, Sanju Samson. lol.

Not unless in Leeds, which is an hour away.

I think the problem with Mutton is it’s widely viewed as for peasants over here (even in Leeds) so would be looked over on any menu.

The wife was seriously impressed with the Biryani by the way, and it smelled superb (the Biryani, not the wife).

I only took the picture of the plate for you as well you ungrateful bastard!
