bosstrabs Cheers for the recommendation of this HIDDEN GEM, Smallman

You’re welcome Dave!

Quite like popping in for breakfast on a Saturday, prior to getting fleeced by my two round town

Just had a look at their brekkie menu. Might have to visit the Shoreditch branch pre working in the City some time. Looks boss.

Wasily, Mama Smalls, her “fucking idiot” son Smallman and the Julie all under a Guy Ritchie roof?

Pics and video please.

Guys have you heard of these new ’Byron’s Burgers’ restaurants? They’re open late and not terrible for a chain.

bosstrabs Hugo, do you know Clubbers Guide to 2003 mixed by Judge Jules and Guy Ornadel is out?

The last Clubber’s Guide I bought was back in 1999 Dave - get with the program!

hugopal I actually think Byron is decent for a chain. Their medium cooked patties are juicy.

Considering we appear to be in 2010 today this is all news to me.

Note the 5 upvotes for me telling you to change your fucking tedious teenager’s avatar, Hugo.

Lore of the Land was ace, bumped into Was too, what a legend!

I can confirm the meeting occurred. Smallman Jr and his fam were on scintillating form. Went for lamb and a smoked sirloin. Lovely.

These guys opened up in Bangalore recently, and besides their fuckery with reservations, they’re probably one of the best Italian franchises I’ve been to. Pork Bulgogi & Garlic Shrimp Half-Half pizza, Burrata Veg Ceviche Salad, Carbonara, and the Caramel Pudding is my go to order (with the missus). Worth visiting if you’re travelling in the far east or here.

RichM I actually went with the Caesar salad when I saw it was veg the first time, despite it being heavily recommended. Ordered it the second time we went, and the wife and I agreed we wouldn’t be doing sharesies next time.

rhouses MESSAGE FROM FOUNDERS: CEO MASUKO AND DEPUTY CEO TAKASUGI

              LOL. ‘Italian’ franchise.

bosstrabs oh it’s Japanese owned? I thought it was founded in Vietnam.

It’s Italian food, twerp. I’m not seeing sushi and tempura on the menu.

bosstrabs the Japanese are well known for their pizza. I wouldn’t think twice. The same way I wouldn’t think twice about having a curry rice with a pork katsu cutlet.

rhouses the Japanese are well known for their pizza.

The most ridiculous thing I have read on here, congratulations Rhouses.

bosstrabs you’d be an idiot if you visited Japan and didn’t explore their pizza culture.

rhouses I lived in Wangjing for three years, which is the area of Beijing all the Koreans and Japanese live in (of the 100,000 expats in Beijing, about 60,000 are Japanese and Korean).

I have had that nasty-ass Japanese pizza.

I will totally bow to the supremacy of Korean fried chicken, though.

bosstrabs tbf I’ve heard the Japanese veer towards Neapolitan pizzas, which isnt really my jam. And so are the ones in 4P’s. Trusted sources however tell me pizza in Japan is a must.

Speaking of Koreans and pizza, I could watch this on loop:

                            Fucking lol!

rhouses agree with you there Rhouses, the Japanese make some of the best pizza in the world, they rival the Italians on the Neapolitan style pizzas. However that is at the top end of the pizza business, not the average pizza joint you find everywhere
