benson Went to the farmers dog yesterday. I really wanted to find something wrong, but it was great. It’s a massively slick operation and nicely busy at 11:30 but was definitely busier when we left about 2. Food was great. I had bangers and mash.
bosstrabs Smallman1 So Bens is the one emptying all the trays of baked beans into his fetid pie hole in the BA Galleries loung so there’s never any left for anyone. Pure FEWMIN!
benson Disappointing that I’m the only one keeping this thread going now. Anyway, we went to 6 by Nico yesterday annoyingly good the only issue was they’d run out of Pinot Noir.
bosstrabs I eat out regularly Bens, especially in Beijing, but most of the places are nowhere near London, where the majority of posters are! Enjoyed this good, affordable Turkish. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g186233-d23646710-Reviews-Pars_Kahve-Chester_Cheshire_England.html
Manski Went to Angelina’s a couple of weeks back for the Kondate menu, with matching wines. Interesting concept, hit and miss with some of the courses, all wines from Italy and they were all decent, some grape varieties I’d never heard of. Good, friendly and unfussy service. Would recommend. https://angelina.london/
mono-stereo Honest Burger in Brixton. Had the Philly Cheese special which comes with a warm cheddar dipping cheese. Superbly executed. 5/5 imo.
hugopal mono-stereo a warm cheddar dipping cheese. Superbly executed If you introduced Ed to a warm cheddar dipping cheese it would be superbly executed…
bosstrabs Sichuan Popo, just off Kensington High Street. A very authentic and reasonably priced gem. Get the Chongqing Lazi Ji (Chongqing-style spicy chicken) and Gan Bian Dou Jiao (dry fried green beans with mince), very very strong werk.
Millsy Dave visiting the UK dressed like Steven Seagal in full fu Manchu white kimono and rounded rose petal sunglasses. Walks incredibly slowly but purposefully everywhere while keeping his arms crossed and his hands covered in his sleeves. Only visits authentic Chinese restaurants where the menus are in Cantonese. Avoids all pubs. Flies back to China with a suitcase full of shell-based trackies. Weirdo.
bosstrabs Not being funny lads but I do have mates I want to catch up with rather than message board friends in my short time here. I know that’s a bit Cankly. But even weirder would be: “Do you mind if my mate Ed Smallman joins us for dinner? Never met him before, just know him off the internet but he’s SOUND.”
hugopal bosstrabs Not being funny lads but I do have mates “They go to another message board, you wouldn’t know them.”
