mono-stereo The Maple Leaf used to do a good few options, but not been for an awful long time mate - think it’s been taken over by Green King, so anything could’ve happened.

Along_the_Wire ah shame. I’m currently sat in a green king pub down the hill from me. The food is laughably bad and quite obviously microwaved given the unfeasibly large menu. Always a telltale.

mono-stereo Never been there. Cycled past it a lot. Does not look that inviting tbh. The beef sharing platter at the flowing well is amazing. Much better choice imo as a pub. I do like a bit of dirty green king food. The white horse is at the end of my road. Great for a cheeky bit of deep fried something.

Spoons in Abingdon was doing a roaring trade if the window seats at 11:30 this morning were anyting to go by!

Yeah it’s shit mate, kind of why I like it tbh. Some characters in here, no real trouble though.

I’ve not eaten in the flowing well, will give it a go. My local is actually the fox but I’m swerving it after my mate who ran it got booted out by the brewery.

Had a couple of decent ‘Thai’ meals at The Blacksmiths last few weeks.

Nice old boozer on the other side of the river to Canary Wharf.

Clearly have an illegal locked up downstairs on cooking duties. His pad thai was pretty impressive last week, followed up with a boss weeping tiger tonight.

Couple of days a week in Canary Wharf.

Staying at Hilton Docklands, boozer less than a minute minute away and office a quick jaunt on the ferry.

Less hassle than trekking about London after work. As a proud Northerner, the less fucking about on the tube the better.
