It looks silly but I don’t really mind if it seems genuine. Harvey hams it up a bit. Zabiela jumps around like a sober weirdo. Not everyone is a potato on stage like Digweed. Some like a bit more show.

Remember when oakey used to go full oakey, he would bypass the Jesus pose and move up a notch to this move where his arms were aloft in front of him then he would shrug his shoulders in time to the beat and semi-jump at the same time. It looked similar to one half Michael Jackson thriller video and one half epileptic fit standing up!

He’s a really talented producer who I’m still waiting on to make something really exceptional. He had one lower tempo (like 124 BPM - lower by his standards) on Dekmantel I really liked a few years ago. I guess I think all the pieces are there. Just haven’t coalesced for me yet.

Jennifer Cardini and Steffi are a couple who I think are consistently of a good quality. Of the new breed I would say Avalon Emerson and Haai, although both are erratic currently.

Quite liked this. Makes me think of late 90’s raves.

And “Enter Me” is the track I liked on Dekmantel. Came out in 2014 and doesn’t sound too great now.
