    Like I said, maybe I’m hugely detached from what goes on in the ‘superstar EDM world’ nowadays, but I just don’t see anything more particularly offensive about her than most of the bellends who occupy that space, and at least her Fabric mix is quite good.

                Agreed. I don’t understand the hate she gets. A dumb interview? Okay. Some weird performative nonsense? Sure. But no worse than any other Coachella-headlining DJ. She seems to enjoy herself. Her fans seem to enjoy her. I guess I’m just whatever about it.

                    And absolutely no need to school me on Russian birds, Alistair, I spend most of a normal, non-COVID year hanging around the famous Maggie’s in the Russian district of Beijing, filled to the brim with Russians and Ukranians (though I prefer a Mongolian for the old take-out - bigger tits, better looking, less pricey and less spoilt than your average Russian)…

                            Kells77 I agree. She’s gimmicky and gets by because of her looks (which are receding) unlike say the Black Madonna who gets by on pure talent. There are plenty of better female DJs who deserve their breaks.

                              I gave it a go. Not my thing so I stopped listening. I dunno, Kels. Just seems like she’s always getting ripped right and left and I don’t see her sins as being any more egregious than countless others. Nick Warren couldn’t mix a gin and tonic. I’ve heard Craig Richards play absolute self-indulgent nonsense. James Zabiela had years there where it seemed he was hell bent on seeing what his effects unit could do rather than what it should do. “She’s only there because of her looks” yeah well welcome to the world.
