Have never listened to Tool before.
Can someone recommend me an album please?

Donna Summer
One of my most treasured disco records
Led Zeppelin. From Led Zep 1 to Physical Graffiti, they were peerless.

No official Pogues music on Radio 1 this year, apparently it offends the snowflake generation.
And it’s shite.
Along_the_Wire Behave yourself.
Can’t understand a word Shane MacGowan says.
Smallman1 neither can he
Bollocks! And fuck any cunt who gets offended by that song. Hope they die in a tofu cooking related accident.
It’s mental isn’t it, typical BBC though, nothing is safe, everything is potentially offensive.
Bandaid will be scrapped next, racist to Africa and portraying it as a desolate poverty stricken continent, raped and pillaged by colonialists and now China.
All that money Shane makes from royalties and he can’t sort out his railings.
I used to like Shoegaze but the shoegaze scene is full of true weirdos.
sbando wtf is shoegaze, like all about eve shit?
Incredibly moving video and song. tells a beautiful story. Ninet Tayeb’s voice when it kicks off (5:47) is a total thing of wonder.
SM001 outstanding
Incredible live band
Goodnight - you’re welcome
ArchimedesQ Killing Joke were awesome. Saw them support Motley Crue.
Can’t go wrong with: -
Rumour has it that’s where Sixx got the Dr Feelgood bassline from
Scott Walker. Brilliant singer/songwriter
Great documentary for anyone who hasn’t seen it’
SM001 Fantastic, unique and utterly bonkers
ArchimedesQ That I am, Arch. That I am.
Bog standard indie fodder my end up to the discovery of clubbing. Massive Smiths fan back in the day. Fucking hate Oasis. Most of it listened to from a nostalgia point of view - Doves, Kraków Loves Adana are the only two indie bands I can think of that I listened to new material of in decades.
Acts that I like, follow and have seen live in the last five years
QOTSA, Radiohead, NIN, Depeche Mode, Doves, Beach House, Strokes, Suede, New Order, Paul Weller, St Vincent, Jack White, Interpol, Bjork, Blur/Gorillaz
Along_the_Wire Definitely maybe is a great debut album.
alistair that’s true to be fair
I listen to a some of those bands you list, but it’s mainly a nostalgia thing rather than new stuff. Seen a lot of them live too more recently
Along_the_Wire Are you familiar with Beach House mate? I think they’re great
alistair I’m not to be fair, I’m gonna give them a wee go over the weekend.
Along_the_Wire Don’t start with their debut. Like Blur and Radiohead’s, its a bit meh. Bloom and Teen Dream are their very best albums. Depression Cherry and 7 are also good
Every Beach House album sounds exactly the same, a load of chintzy guitar and some soppy cunt singing about a broken heart.
