Felt like that had been coming for a while. Seemed his enthusiasm for it had waned over recent weeks and was in need of a break. To be fair, he does it for free and was started in the spirit of helping everybody through lockdown, and moreover he gives up a lot of his time for it. No less of a disappointment though. Hope it is just a few weeks and he’ll be back in the office soon.

The listenership was always steady and I know I speak for most here and on other platforms that it was something you really looked forward to on a weekly basis. But like you said it was probably coming. After a few months I was wondering how he was going to keep it fresh week after week. He’s earned a break in fairness. I’m still sulking like a fucking baby though. 😅

SM001 “Enthusiasm” was probably the wrong word to use – should have said that it is a lot of commitment and if you have other stuff going on it can make it tricky to do week after week and would find yourself pulling back eventually. and slowing it down. If it was me doing what Digweed does, my missus would have pulled the plug after week 3 for sure – and there definitely wouldn’t have been any dancing in the background. 😀

As it happens I’m feeling rough tonight so it is a good excuse for an early one. Had it been any other weekend, it would have been gutting.

whatever eh he’s been doing a few hours a week from his gaf. 😆 Before that he was travelling around the world with the same other stuff going. So i’m not buying it’s a big commitment thing either. And when it comes to work ethic Digweed is in a class of his own. It’s likely he’s just taking a break for no other reason then he wants to take a couple of weeks off.

Maybe stuff going on with the label ? Tbh if I was him I’d be concentrating getting some decent releases on Bedrock out and earning some coin . Touring for all DJs is still a long way off and won’t be the same when it resumes .
