bosstrabs Currently, it’s a huge fucking ballache to get to Heathrow from the North West by train.

Lol.

What’s your point Smallman you absolute imbecile? My point is simply that I end up taking the shuttle when I’d rather take the train.

bosstrabs Emirates do a chauffeur service Dave. Book the right airline.

Business class to London, train to Runcorn.

    Living the dream.

    bosstrabs
It’s the same thing living on the south coast. A complete nightmare getting to Heathrow by train.

Give me a shout when you’re off the reg express Dave!

I’m more and more and more tempted to never leave the house ever again.

Amps The Fins have a great saying: “Kalsarikänni” means a desire to just stay at home and sit drinking in your underwear. That’s basically what I’m doing. Except I’m not drinking. Instead I’m laying waste to what’s left of Smallman’s online persona.

No one takes the bait like you Dave.

        On the reel every time!

Smallman1 talking of costly infrastructure upgrades how is your roof now you absolute plum?

          Are you ok Dave?

The reason I ask is that you’re having an absolute reg at the moment.

Dubman Smallman doesn’t seem to get that after 10-14 hours on a plane/in airports, one might prefer a train journey if it was a viable option

          a year later

Amps add another 10 years and they might be close.

at least andy burham wont be kicking off trying to protect Manchester. the train from leeds to london is shocking

Hursty I worked at home 3 days out of 5. Worked great for me and wonders for the company. Productivity is the measure.

Typically, when a country adds in a new ‘high speed’ line, or specifically an ‘additional direct route’ to it’s network, one of the main benefits is that this frees up other arterial routes to carry local traffic. So, if all the London to Brum traffic is on the HS2 line, then you should be able to get more frequent trains from places that used to share that route. Apparently that’s of no interest to this government, hasn’t been sold as a benefit, and hasn’t been costed or factored into how many cars they can take off the road. Or so all the train spotters tell me.

Christian the train from leeds to london is shocking

Not sure I have ever done that one… Leeds to Liverpool is bad enough.

The amount of disruption this is causing around my way at the moment and for the foreseeable is an absolute joke. A complete clusterfuck from the moment it was proposed. The plug should have been pulled years ago, but too many greased palms involved for that now

              Lol Amps .

I’ve just bought 2 Morhras for the boys for Christmas. So random you’ve posted that

Fair play, didn’t know it was really a thing still.

My oldest got big into it over lockdown (when he was 5) seeing a clip of Shin Godzilla on his tablet. He’s watched loads of them - proper old black and white ones in Japanese etc. but Shin is his favourite

Old-Dutch Boss! I used to watch all the old Toho ones back in the 90s when C4 was showing them. Careful though, gateway media to obscure west coast breakbeats and poor graphic design career choices in my experience.

Haha. They both got loads of Godzilla toys last year so far they’ve got Mothra, Gigan and Boyolante coming this year. Not sure how many more there are…..

Lol I forgot that I already got those for them last year mate. Mecha King Ghidora.

I’m not sure I would use ‘expectation’ more ‘comically hollow lie from day one’.
