I thought the US was fucked before i came back to the UK last year. Jeez….what a mess. What strikes me is how average wages here vs cost of living vs GDP per capita is diverging. Basically the normal hard working person here earns a relative pittance, pays over the odds for tiny houses , taxed to the hilt and gets a poor NHS. We put up with so much here vs (say) the US.
