Old-Dutch I’d have thought this was a result of the disease versus the vaccines. The vaccines did bring the death count down significantly in 2022-23. Could have been pretty brutal without them when that 3rd variant was doing the rounds and everyone got the sniffles.

If it was a result of the disease you’d expect it to be more respiratory led as opposed to cardiac. To my mind at least.

If it could be pinned on the disease itself, I’m fairly sure it would have been done by now.

Failing to even acknowledge the excess deaths happening in the first place is suspicious in itself.

That’s because you’d be correct. The cardiac impacts from infection have been well-documented and absolutely dwarf any complications from the vaccines.

Nothing wrong with investigating the data and questioning motives, but the data is clear thus far. I just don’t have the energy for this anymore.

My dad got it at the end of ’22 on a Singapore trip. Knocked him on his ass for a couple of days, pretty sure it would have been far more severe if he wasn’t vaccine’d up.

Old-Dutch I’ve had close poker buddy, late 30s, who got a random heart attack just after getting COVID after both his shots. And a few acquaintances as well. Wasn’t sure if it was my COVID googles, but was quite spooked for a while. Surely there’s a correlation between heart issues and COVID. Can get quite paranoid, and more than breathing issues was genuinely worried about a stroke or heart attack when my Dad got it.

First of all, sorry you lost your friend R Dogg, fucking terrible.

Secondly, the body is pretty complex, and there’s a correlation between lots of different things that can cause specific outcomes.

COVID might be one in this case, but there are also plenty that don’t involve COVID.

Best to leave that to medical professionals

Had I known back then what I know now about MRNA technology, the contract that our Govt. signed with Pfizer, the fact that the Pfizer vaccine we all had was manufactured in a completely different way to the vaccine they used in their tests, what they did and didn’t do in their tests, that pretty much every country relied on Pfizer’s results without doing their own testing and the FDA tried to embago the Pfizer results for 75 years - there’s no fucking way I’d have taken their jab.

Each to their own, but no more for me. I’ve had COVID at least twice. The first time from the original Wuhan variant and before any vaccines were available.

To say this you’d presumably need to have evidence comparing unvaccinated people and their heart related issues after COVID to compare against vaccinated people? Didn’t realise such data was available, but happy to be proven wrong
