Along_the_Wire I haven’t been able to get into Control. However, it did take 3 or 4 goes before TLOU clicked for me so I’ll definitely give it another go at some point.
Squirrel was only £20, I quite like the ridiculousness of it.

I’m about 30 hours into Star Wars:Jedi Survivor on the PS5.

After a slow start I really enjoy it. I don’t really care for the story as have never been a Star Wars geek, but the gameplay, side missions, graphics and weapon choices are all solid. Think it’s about £20 to buy now, which is an absolute steal

      Along_the_Wire short answer is no.

Longer answer - it’s like semi open world. It can be linear if you want, but the actual worlds in the game aren’t that big, so exploring them for the side missions isn’t onerous.

Would definitely recommend for the price

gcw cool - not too big a fan of open world games, too much pissing around for my liking.

gcw One of my fave games of last year. Thought it was mint from start to finish and a step up from the first one in every respect. 👍🏻

I’m 6 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 on the PS5. After a clunky start i have to say it’s shaping up to be a very good game. The open world is very detailed, some beautiful visuals. Drawbacks so far - I’m still unsure on all the controls (there are loads of perks, attributes etc), it has a lot of ‘choices ’ I.e. press X for this, press Y for that. I don’t usually like waiting to cycle through all those options.

I know it’s about a 50 hour game so I’m sure there’s lots more to do

gcw supposed to be amazing now they’ve ironed out all the launch day bugs. I just can’t dedicate as much time to games like this any more, but may have to buy a ps5 for GTA when Wally finally gets his finger out and releases it.

Millsy yeah same here, Cyberpunk is right up my alley but I just don’t have the time to commit. Plus I’m too busy flying precision approaches into EHAM with 39kt gusts.
I will have to invest in a new console for GTA and get a divorce just so I can play it.

                😆

Millsy I’m very much in the same boat. An open world game does take a lot of investment and I was hesitant to start this. But I definitely recommend it. Once I work out all the perks, skills etc I suspect it will get even better. It should see me through until GTA6 at the end of this year anyway

Cyberpunk 2077 is a really good game. Played through it twice. Probs gonna go through it again since they’ve rejigged a lot of it and added new gameplay stuff since the DLC was released.

Is it any good on ps5? I’m considering getting a steam deck oled as that thing looks amazing.

Have bought the boys X Boxes for Christmas. Going to share an ultimate pass which I’ve subscribed for a year. Think I’m going to dip my toe in the gaming world after about 25 years

Red Dead Redemption 2 is my priority
