Not exactly breaking news that Zelda games are addictive but holy shit is Tears of The Kingdom impossible to put down. I have done little else this week.

I’ve never played a Zelda game in my life but intrigued by all the talk of ‘greatest game ever’. The gameplay videos on YouTube look terrible though? Think I’ll avoid!

gcw i would say Breath of The Wild was probably better as it was the template for the new one, but still this one did take the BOTW model to the next level. Best game ever is extreme, but it is absolutely up there for most addictive.

I picked up The Callisto Protocol on the XSX earlier this month and its decent so far. Would have been a bit annoyed at paying full price for it, but for £24 it’s a good game. I have God of War Ragnarok also on the go.

I finished The Callisto Protocol eventually, it was very underwhelming.

I’ve now put a few hours into God of War Ragnarok on the PS5. Absolutely gorgeous game. Its more of the same as its predecessor but that’s no bad thing. I love these linear games, I can’t be doing with always playing open world stuff and having collectibles etc.

I finished God of War: Ragnarok last night

My word, what a masterpiece. The gameplay was absolutely exceptional, and the final level could be the best level of gaming I’ve ever experienced.

My only gripe, and its a minor one, is the number of cut scenes (that you can’t skip) but everything else about this is 10/10.
