General TV Thread
plowed through seasons 9-13 of always sunny in the last week. the recent stuff isn’t as good as earlier seasons, but it’s still consistently funny.
The first 4-5 seasons of Sunny were absolutely classic, but it got a bit samey and kinda lost me after. Need to put my head down and give the rest a proper go.
The new season of The Boys is out on Prime. Looking forward to it, left us on a proper cliffhanger last year.
The Boys Season 2. Loving it so far…
Watched the first four episodes of Lovecraft Country last night. Total dog shit. I’m watching it thinking “it sucks that Peele ended up pulling a JJ Abrams” only to see that they coproduced it. Baby brained slop made for Spielberg loving simps. Oh, and absolutely nothing to do with Lovecraft.
Finally managed to get my hands on S5 of the Bureau as its arrived on Sundance via Amazon.
Must say I thoroughly enjoyed the whole of the Bureau and loved the French style throughout, the last series lost some of the impetus and the ending was ok but not ground breaking.
Did anyone watch the first two episodes of Fargo 4 yet?
The first one. Don’t know what to think yet, but even at it’s worst (season 3) Fargo’s been better than most.
It was alright in the end, but definitely a step down. Great acting kept it interesting for me.

Watched the first two episodes of Fargo 4 and it’s very good.
Genny from Gomorrah, the father from Suburra and a few others from Gomorrah are introduced into it in the second episode.
The crazy nurse character is particularly good!
Watched Comey rule on Sky Atlantic. Good and Jeff Daniels is as ever excellent as the ex FBI director
Fargo S4 has been seriously high quality so far (I’m 3 episodes in)… good to see Salvatore Esposito (Gennaro in Gomorrah) as a total nutter. After a barren stretch of TV for me, this is manna from heaven.
