C_J …absolutely loved it!
Have to say, was really disappointed by Shogun… desperate desire to be ‘atmospheric’ came across as really quite flat. Distinct lack of action, did they run out of money? scenes like the one where they were diving off the boat, they just didn’t bother putting any background in!? Cosmo Jarvis just weird in that posh, thuggish role, Anna Sawai was one of few highlights. Richard Chamberlain version was more memorable IMO.
