Watched Paradise over the weekend. Wasn’t expecting it to unravel into the storyline it was, and must admit that made me enjoy it less. It had decent reviews, but not from me. Will give it a 5/10

The truth Vs Alex Jones
I never took much notice of Mr Jones but I now understand why I lost a good friend who was in so deep in every conspiracy theory.
The Utter contempt in which Alex showed during those trials and the fact he hasn’t paid a single dollar to those poor families after he said it was all a hoax. 8/10

Just finished The Chair Company. Hadn’t heard of this until reading a couple of Best Series of 2025 reviews, and this was in there.

A bit of a quirky comedy show, and a strange storyline, but enjoyed it. Sort of reminded me a bit of the series Barry.

Seems to basically be a redo of The Wire…enjoyable nonetheless, but definitely owes a lot to it imo.

Nick Caves Veiled World.
Wouldn’t say I’m a fan but he’s an interesting guy and there are some good docs out there about him, including this new one on Sky.
It mostly covers his songwriting process through interviews with friends, fans and collaborators with lots of fascinating behind the scenes footage.
It inevitably covers the death of his son and the resulting album which was incredibly moving.
Bright Horses is a profoundly beautiful song.
Recommended.
