RichM I enjoyed it…..just don’t expect it to be all resolved by the end. I was less annoyed about it than I thought i would.

Phil-McRackin yeah, I was surprised how much I liked it too. I means who wants to watch a bunch of teenage girls including a lesbian couple stranded in the woods, right?

Seriously though it was genius. It combines light and dark to better effect than anything since Breaking Bad. Melanie Lynskey & Christina Ricci are absolutely superb in particular but the whole cast are amazing right down to the bit parts.

C_J haha, I meant more that going into it i hoped we would find out more about what actually went on after the crash in this series but seems like we just saw a small part…they were there for 18m so there’s loads more to find out. Yes, those 2 weere great, Iggy Pop too….

I’m pacing myself with Yellowjackets. Just halfway through, watching an episode a week. The show gives me anxiety, but I love it.

Watched the first episode of Yellowjackets, and it did not disappoint. Great premise. I was just thinking about Lord of the Flies when I was observing the children in our apartment complex games room, swinging the pool sticks riot police and screaming like animals.

Soundtrack couldn’t have been more appropriate. Got a proper flashback when PJ Harvey came on. Felt guilty I wasn’t watching it with the wife. So it’s on hold till our new living/TV room is set up with a couch.

Reacher renewed for a season 2 three days after the premiere. I guess it was a hit.

Did about 5 episodes of The Shrink Next Door. The acting is brilliant, but it’s such a frustrating watch I just couldn’t go on anymore. Seeing Paul Rudd’s character slowly but surely exploit Ferrell each episode isn’t easy at all.

rhouses seemed like a decent premise, but that was one of the worst shows i’ve ever seen. think i watched 3 episodes and i probably slept through half of it. nothing happens.

Finished season three of ‘Succession’. Brilliant show. The dick pic scene had me genuinely ROFL. 😅

I could imagine re-watching Succession as so many jokes are really subtle and you can miss them easily. Subtle things like Logan calls Shiv and an image of Saddam Hussein comes up on her phone. There’s also a lot going on in the plot with all the relationships between the characters. Definitely think I could notice so much more on another viewing of it.

For me, another show like Succession that started off promising and ended up being dogshit by about the end of Season 2.

i’m sure it’s an interesting story at some level, but the execution was awful.

303abuser opposite for me actually. The story is boring and kinda petty, not much to it besides a very long con. Thought the execution is pretty good with some solid performances.
