New HBO crime doc. Pretty good! These fucking inbred retards…good grief. Only three episodes released, so not much of a catch-up needed, with three more coming out in the coming weeks. I recommend it. Likely could’ve been edited a bit more, down to say four episodes, but it’s a pretty crazy story so far and likely only going to get more bizarre.

And all in on this….

Nathan Fielder is a riot.

whatever

It’s good. Should’ve been a movie rather than a drawn out series but worth a go. Lithgow and Bridges are both very good. Amy Brenneman is always perfectly fine doing her acting thing.

Cheers J. I will definitely check it out in that case. Hadn’t appreciated Lithgow was in at as well, so should be another factor to make it fairly solid.

      whatever

The acting and the direction drive it. Worth a go and just two episodes left (seven in total) so not a big commitment. But too many scenes where it’s like, cool, Bridges likes his dogs and his dogs like him; oh, his relationship with his daughter is fraught. 20 years ago it’s an excellent movie like “The Fugitive” but that’s not what gets made anymore. All in all, by modern “prestige” TV standards it’s very good. I think you’ll like it. I’m enjoying it.

Yeah, definitely works with the trailer. Had to look it up. Seems to be UNKLE - Rabbit In Your Headlights.

Enjoying, prison drama/serial killer yarn Blackbird on Apple TV. Good to see an excellent Ray Liotta mark his final appearance in style as the ailing father. Tarom Egerton and Greg Kinnear stand out too.

bosstrabs powerhouse performance from John Bernthal. Fizzing with charisma and menace

Discovered there is a HBO documentary “The Slow Hustle” that covers the fall out from the events depicted in We Own This City.
Spoiler alert if you haven’t seen WOTC

Tez Maynard out of Sherwood, corra etc the black guy was a childhood friend of mine. Sat next to him for years at school. Klang.!

Done 5 episodes since Saturday. It ok, but a few things started to enjoy me. Just hope it all ties together at the end.

Australian special forces are already being held to account for it. One case inparticular. All special forces. I doubt if it will be much different a story back home.

They had some army vet talking on LBC today. He reckoned it all changed when enemy started using suicide vests. They couldn’t just stop & search people for fear of them blowing themselves up.

The way he slips something he’s done into a conversation is quite disturbing.

Funniest in s3 for me was the shooting of one of the bike gang off the car dealership roof.

Hulu limited series Under the Banner of Heaven dropped on Disney+ in Europe this week. Reddit likes it, and calls it the mormon True Detective. Based (apparently loosely) on actual events, so googling anything about it might lead you to spoilers. Will start it tonight with the missus.

Homegrove hahaha oh the turn tables from that scene to the final episode.

The entire car/bike chase scene sits on top for me. Had me by the balls the whole time, in the weirdest way possible.

Dubman have just started watching this? Seems like it has potential

Think it was Chaucer who wrote that line.

The Old Man is a decent watch. Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow both in it.
