Monster Hunter - Another B movie, this time with Mila jovovovich, again, better than a lot of stuff Ive sat through of late. The lack of speeches is very refreshing. 3 Chinese backed productions out of 5.

303abuser woah. Always thought Eraser was one of those Arnie-movies after True Lies where he was running out of steam, before getting into politics. Also the rare Schwarzenegger-movie I’ve only seen once, back when it was in the theatres. Which must have been a long time ago.

John Wick 3: Parabellum. Just as shit as the first two. Only watched it because after the day I had at work the only thing I could watch was mindless fight. It delivered on that. Fair play to Keanu for starting his own superhero-franchise at 50. Also those fights must be REALLY hard work. First learning the choreography, then shooting them. Same with Halle Berry, she’s also over 50 and did some stuff on this fight-wise to almost put Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde to shame.

Incendie…was recommended by a bird on the dating apps, 2010 Canadian film by Denis Villeneuve, director of Blade Runner 2049…. Completely different to BR 2049 too in every way, this is the story of two siblings whose mother dies and asks them to find their father and brother in the Middle East. An intricate story with some emotive moments, well worth a watch…7.5/10

Summer of Soul at the Electric, Notting Hill. Superb documentary on the Harlem Cultural Music Festival 1969. Some beautiful performances from BB King, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder and narrative/ interviews on what motivated the artists. 8/10
