It centres on Alexia who gets into a bad car accident when she’s younger. She gets fitted with a titanium plate in her head that regularly gets displayed.

Instead of being afraid of automobiles, the woman develops a strange attraction to the machines, which escalates to the romantic.

At one point in the movie, she has sex with a car, gets pregnant with a car-human hybrid baby and even starts lactating ink-black oil.

…sounds fucking great tbf.

Sicario 2 - This was surprisingly good, but I mean, you can’t really compare it to the first in terms of tension and action too. I’m sure there were several instances where Villeneuve must have chopped out dialogue, that seems to have made its way into the second part, which makes it a tad bit cheeseball. I also don’t remember the first being overtly OTT, this was. Do like how they’ve made it into a franchise, they should get another director for it. Sam Mendes maybe?

Sicario 2 wasnt a bad film. Its just never mentioned with the same affection as the first one, as the first is an absolute masterpiece.

It’s excellent film making and acting but it’s not an excellent story - the ending was improvised when they ran out of money and it shows - and the film doesn’t really have a point when the main character ends the film even more in the dark than when she started it.

I’ve told this story before, but I never get tired of it. Mild spoilers:

When Sicario 2 came out the local multiplex had one screening of the first one before it. Having only ever seeing at home on a TV I jumped at the chance to see it on big screen. Ok, the first scene ends badly, and after were shown one of the cops crawling to get his detached hand, this one old lady a few rows before me quietly gathered her belongings and fucked off. I guess she figured the movie was not for her. 😀
