Not quite sure what your question is about the ending but I thought the film repeatedly forewarned what was likely to happen in the end. The obvious ending never seemed to be on the cards (pun intended) and I think it would have been disappointing if it did. Sorry, not sure that covers your question, but yes, I would definitely like to see it again as well.
It’s one of those films that made me think and gives you the feeling that there is more to understand by revisiting it. I thought the same about Shot Caller. Films like that just don’t leave everything on the table, which is a big part of the appeal.
I also thought it was a really unique idea to link it to Abu Ghraib.
