On shrooms Midsommar would be an absolute trip, and quite meta as well, given it’s got one of the most accurate visual representations of what a shroom trip is like.

Visually never experienced anything like it from a horror movie. And properly sinister as well.

In Bruges

Inspired to watch this after seeing Banshees. Cracking film, albeit a bit disturbing in places. That flashback scene genuinely shocked me as I wasn’t expecting it. Didn’t think Ralph Fiennes was properly cast but didn’t detract from the film overall.
