Stand By Me. What a great movie. Judging by Will Wheaton’s acting in it I’ve always been surprised he didn’t get beyond Star Trek and a continuing Big Bang Theory-cameo.

I can’t think of a flaw in Stand By Me. Pretty damn perfect movie. River Phoenix could’ve been the biggest actor in the world. Kinda odd that Kiefer probably had the best career out of all of them. Well, until Julia Roberts ditched him at the alter for his best man.

I’m a bit of a Seth Rogen fan and he plays both lead characters in this, so I liked it. The first half was great, the second half not so much, but I would still recommend.

That comes with HBO Nordic, so wouldn’t cost me anything extra. Still been a bit on the fence, will give it a try now.

Scott Eastwood, Caleb Landry Jones and Orlando Bloom take a trip to Afghanistan and spend some time getting to know the locals.

This was brilliant. Starts off more measured then goes nuts. Great acting and camerawork really puts you right there.

Highly recommended.

Clemency. Well reviewed film about a prison warden over-seeing executions and building a relationship with one of the inmates on death row. It wasn’t very good if I’m honest and was bored to tears. 3/10
